Teresa Crowson came to us here at the Warrior’s Refuge in December of 2020 and serves as the Kitchen Director. A lifelong Texas resident, Teresa settled here in Brazoria County in September of 2020. Teresa comes from both a background in food service as well as non-profit work. Teresa worked as a meat cutter for HEB for 16 years. After leaving HEB she entered the nonprofit arena serving as a safe house coordinator for victims of domestic violence. She was responsible for food service, intake, case management, financials, and overall ensuring a safe place for domestic violence victims.
Teresa has a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and has a strong desire to serve as Christ has called us to serve. Aside from her professional career, she has also served in many volunteer roles from Sunday school in the church to Volunteering with CASA a foster children advocacy service in Angelina County helping with supply needs for foster children, also volunteered with CPS assisting with various needs and services.
Teresa enjoys quality time with her two daughters, four grandchildren, and her dog Ellie Mae, as well as baking, swimming, sewing, and many other activities.
